Saudi Arabia repatriates citizens from Egypt

Saudi Arabia’s Embassy in Cairo yesterday announced the resumption of flights between the kingdom and Egypt in order to evacuate its citizens, the New Khaleej reported.

According to the Saudi embassy, only Saudi nationals wishing to leave Egypt will be permitted to travel to the kingdom.

The embassy said that any airlines could be involved in the evacuation of Saudi citizens over the two-day period which ends today.

Meanwhile, the Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation announced exceptional flights would take place between 9-24 March for Egyptians who want to return from countries which have suspended flights to the North African state.
