Every seven minutes one person is dying of Coronavirus in Iran, the state television announced on Monday.
The Iranian Health ministry confirmed 215 new deaths from the disease and warned about raising rates of the infection due to the ignorance towards social distancing rules. In support of a statement the TV showed Iranian streets full of people without masks, neglecting distancing.
Several experts expressed their disbelief in official numbers, suggesting that the real number of infections and the death toll are double of the announced.
Iran eased Epidemiological restrictions in mid-April. Since that time the infection rate was progressively surging.
The governmental authorities told they would have to reimpose the lockdown, considering that the mandatory mask-wearing and distancing rules were not effective in curbing the spread of the disease.
